The bright orange galley kitchen in the Henderson's house needed an update. Beyond the garish color-scheme, there was the inefficient line-up of sink and appliances flanking one wall, an eat-in table doubling as a counter-top and no storage to spare. With two energetic teenage girls, a dog and a family always on-the-go, the space seemed oh so limited.

Large appliances and a kitchen table were squeezed into a long, narrow room. Three large windows limited opportunities for storage.

The need for change was evident.
